Ms. LaPlante received her Masters of Arts Honours from
the University of Aberdeen in 1990. In 1996, Ms. LaPlante
earned her law degree from the Syracuse University College
of Law where she was a lead articles editor for the
Syracuse Journal of International Law & Commerce.
